Liam Gallagher目中无人，他的眼里就只剩下神，John Lennon 对他来说就是神。

为了接近自己的偶像，Liam Gallagher准备在纽约的Dakato公寓旁边，也就是John Lennon被枪杀的地方购置一处房子，为的就是接近偶像的灵魂。

摇滚歌手们说受到谁谁的影响很正常，但像Liam Gallagher这样跟歌迷追星一样的举动还真不多。都说偶像的力量是强大的，所以平常粗鲁的Liam Gallagher在遇到John Lennon的遗孀Yoko Ono时也会显得十分害羞，甚至都不敢主动找她说话。一个大男人变得如此扭捏，搁平时真是难以想见，爱屋及乌的Liam将Yoko Ono当成了John Lennon生命的延续，而前者也确实在延续着John Lennon的生命，每次出门Yoko Ono都要带上一个徽章，上面写着“Imagine Peace”，以此延续John Lennon生前的努力，她总共有24种不同语言的“Imagine Peace”，每次出门换种语言，意为每个民族都需要和平。

见Yoko Ono如见John Lennon，这次会面后Liam灵感大发，写歌如有神助，在Oasis最近一张专辑《Dig Out Your Soul》里，Liam就亲自为偶像写了首歌，《I'm Outta Time》，歌里出现了John Lennon生前采访录音的一段采样，这首歌成了整张专辑的亮点，深得歌迷喜爱。
